Although days were generally occupied with herding, there was ALOT of other very important things that needed to be done. Below shows me drilling holes in the "piques", or fence, where the wire would run through. That later meant putting up the fences, which meant running wire for kilometres in the fields, which of course meant digging deep holes to put poles, which meant, finding wood and making it into strong poles .... you get the picture... lots of steps in this process...lots of work. Antonio with an armidillo. Putting the dogs away after a good days work. The dogs are phenomenal. Each have there strengths and roles: one with a strong sense of smell for hunting; others that are fast and excellent for herding; and others with killer instinct and ability. | ||||
